Liya Diriya training programme at Dehiattakandiya
Assetline Finance Limited recently conducted a one day training programme to educate women on mushroom cultivation as a means of self-employment, under the Assetline “Liya Diriya” women empowerment initiative. Fifty women attended the programme which was held at the Hotel Millennium Regency City, Dehiattakandiya.
Assetline Dehiattakandiya Branch initiated this programme with support from the Dehiattakandiya Divisional Secretariat and the Department of Agriculture, Polonnaruwa Office who provided the resource personnel for this programme. We hope to implement similar programmes across the country with the aim of encouraging female entrepreneurs.
